No client names, logos or testimonials here. What you get is the
problem, what I did and how it ended. I publish a case when I can back the result with a
measured figure or a verifiable fact; otherwise it does not go up.
Case 01 · Cold chain in food retail
Five hundred dollars nobody spent
Problem
An installation apparently running fine. During the inspection I found conditions
that, together, formed a failure chain: compromised heat rejection, a compressor with no
protections and an envelope that did not hold the heat back. I put in writing what
needed correcting.
What I did
I documented each finding and quoted it: five hundred dollars to close all five
links. The client decided it could wait, because the room was still cooling. It was not
an absurd decision: it is the one almost everybody makes.
Result
The failure came with the room full and on a day off. The product crossed the
temperature line and was lost entirely: 250,000 dollars of inventory, against 500 to
correct it. A ratio of one to five hundred.
A 2 °C cold storage room in a rural area of eastern Cuba (Comecara,
Contramaestre), with the condensing unit forced to sit outdoors, exposed to
hurricanes.
What I did
Heat load calculation, selection and supply of the refrigeration equipment: a
2 HP condensing unit and an evaporator. The work was carried out by the local
contractor to that specification.
Result
The installation withstood a direct hit from Hurricane Melissa, which crossed
eastern Cuba on October 29, 2025.

There is more executed work than what appears here:
projects in Mexico, Cuba, Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay. Cases go up as I gather the client's
permission and the evidence. I would rather have three verifiable cases than twenty invented ones.
